Ananya Chatterjea, University of Minnesota Theatre Arts & Dance Professor, is the 2017 recipient of the Ada Comstock Distinguished Women Scholars Award

The University of Minnesota Women's Center is thrilled to announce that Ananya Chatterjea, University of Minnesota Theatre Arts & Dance Professor, is the 2017 recipient of the Ada Comstock Distinguished Women Scholars Award!

Professor Chatterjea is also the founder and artistic director of Ananya Dance Theatre. Comprised primarily of women artists of color, the mission of ADT is to create original Contemporary Indian American Dance theater at the intersection of artistic excellence and social justice.
