There are over 100,000 students from India in the United States, including nearly 1,000 individuals studying at the University of Minnesota. While there is one country called India, the diversity that emerges from the 2nd most populous country on Earth is significant. This interactive workshop will be an introduction to important factors to consider when inviting, building trust, and working with Indian students.

At the end of this workshop, you will we able to:

  • Understand more about the Indian student experience
  • Identify specific Indian values that will help you build productive relationships
  • Develop an appreciation for a range of food restrictions students from India may face

Registration is now open on ULearn, and participants should register for each course they wish to attend. This workshop is part of the ISSS Intercultural Workshop Series for UMN staff.
