Grieving & COVID-19: Healing as an Asian American Community

Wednesday, April 15, 2020
Tue, April 21st
4:30pm - 6:00pm

COVID-19 is changing our lives. We’re restricted to our homes, growing increasingly bored, restless, fearful, and uncertain about the future. Normalcy is gone. As we adjust and transition to distance learning and to work remotely, we are also experiencing grief. This pandemic has led to a series of losses, including our sense of safety, social connections, financial security, and more. Grief is a universal feeling, but not often do we all feel it at the same time. Let’s come together as a community to acknowledge the losses this pandemic has brought and to discuss ways we can heal. All UMN students, staff, and faculty are welcome!

Hosted by the Asian Pacific American Resource Center
