Same-sex couple who filed historic case donate papers to U collection

The files chronicle the love story of Michael McConnell and Jack Baker, who in 1970 became the first same-sex couple to apply for a marriage license. They told the larger history of the fight for gay rights in Minnesota and elsewhere. Read the Star Tribune story.
