Keeping Our American Indian Faculty and Faculty of  Color Symposium VIII: Power, Policy and Academic Freedom

March 31 - April 2, 2019

Graduate Hotel, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Mark your calendars for the eighth Keeping Our American Indian Faculty and Faculty of Color Symposium, addressing one of the most critical challenges facing higher education: the development, recruitment, and retention of American Indian Faculty and Faculty of Color.

Begun in 1998 on the University of Minnesota campus, Keeping Our Faculty is the only national symposium focused on advancing faculty diversity in higher education. Previous symposia have drawn scholars, policymakers, and administrators from more than 60 institutions across the country. The 2019 Symposium will bring together scholars and practitioners who share a commitment to advancing faculty diversity and have the expertise and knowledge to accomplish that critical goal."
