Taking Care of Me and My Asian American Family

Wednesday, April 15, 2020
Thurs, April 23rd
3:00pm - 4:30pm
With the restriction to “stay in place,” many of you are now living at home with multiple family members. Your responsibility to the family may have increased by twofold overnight, especially as Asian American students. It may be hard to say no to family members when you have no place to go. While you're navigating these new changes, you are still trying to stay on top of your academics. You are doing the best you can, but you may not be sure how to manage all the new responsibilities and family dynamics at home. For those who are not living with family, you may yearn to be with family. You may also be managing family relationships from a distance, and that could feel frustrating. Join us for a conversation about Asian American family dynamics and setting boundaries as a way to engage in self-care during this pandemic.  All are welcome!

Hosted by the Asian Pacific American Resource Center
