Yesterday during the annual Paint the Bridge event, where registered student groups and University departments can paint panels on the Washington Ave Bridge to raise awareness for their groups, the College Republicans, a registered student group, included the words "build the wall" on their panel. This is a well-known campaign slogan from Republican candidate Donald Trump that references his promise to build a wall between Mexico and the U.S. if elected.
The Office for Equity and Diversity has adeveloped faculty-specific workshops, which are listed below. Faculty and instructors can sign up for the sessions below via the ULearn System. More than 140 researchers at the U of M are engaging with business, community, and education leaders in order to close the opportunity gap for healthy child development in Minnesota and across the nation.
