The Love Project: Love Letters to Our Marginalized Communities

Thursday, January 25, 2018

Wednesday, February 14, 8 am - 4 pm, Wiley Hall, U of M West Bank

The Love Project: Love Letters to LGBTQIA, Women, People with Disabilities, People of Color, Immigrants and Muslims on University of Minnesota Campus.

It is love that brings us closer. It is love that celebrates our shared humanity, understands our similarities, warmly accepts and respects our diversity and differences. Come and celebrate this powerful philosophy and universal language by writing love letters to your LGBTQIA, women, people with disabilities, immigrants and Muslim communities on the Twin Cities' campus on Wednesday Feb 14th from 8am-4pm at Wiley Hall Atrium, West Bank.

We will give you a love cookie for your love letter. We bring the cards and pens and you bring your love and support.

You can take the card with you to give it to one of your friends, colleagues or acquaintances who comes from the marginalized groups; LGBTQIA, Women, People with Disabilities, Immigrants and Muslims OR you can leave it with us and we will deliver it on your behalf to our campus community.

Sponsored by Steven.J. Schochet Endowment, in collaboration with Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life, Women's Center, Disability Resource Center and Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence, University of Minnesota - Office for Equity and Diversity.
